Services
Every family starts with an assessment. From there we build a plan that matches your child's age, needs, and your goals, and we adjust it as they grow.
Assessment
The first step for every familyA behavior analyst meets your child and you, reviews records, and completes a skills and behavior assessment. You get a written report and a treatment plan you can read and question.
Comprehensive ABA
Typically ages 2 to 8Higher weekly hours for young children with needs across communication, play, self-care, and behavior. Most sessions are one to one at the clinic.
Focused ABA
Any ageFewer hours aimed at a short list of goals, such as a specific challenging behavior, toileting, or a social skill that is holding your child back.
Parent and caregiver training
Included in every planRegular sessions where you practice strategies with your analyst, not just watch. Grandparents, siblings, and nannies are welcome.
School collaboration
School-age clientsWith your permission, we consult with teachers and attend IEP meetings so the plan at school and the plan at the clinic line up.
Older teens and young adults
Ages 14 to 22Independence, self-advocacy, community safety, and the daily living skills that matter after high school.
What a week looks like
Your child is scheduled with a behavior technician for direct sessions, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst oversees the plan, observes sessions regularly, and meets with you. The number of hours is set by the assessment and your insurance authorization, then reviewed every six months.
LHDC provides ABA therapy. We do not diagnose autism or other developmental conditions. If you are still looking for a diagnostic evaluation, call us anyway. We know who in Brevard is seeing new patients and can point you in the right direction.
